MY SECOND HOME IN NJ HAS BEEN DEVASTATED BY SANDY. BECAUSE I HAVE FLOOD INS. AND IT IS A SECOND HOME NO ONE WANTS TO HELP ME!!. I PAY THE SAME FLOOD PREMIUMS AS EVERY ONE ELSE. OUR GOVT CAN REBUILT IRAQ AND AFGHANASTAN, BUT THE VICTIMS OF SANDY IN MY SITUATION CANNOT GET HELP. THE LAWS ARE ANTIQUATED AND NO LONGER APPLY.
FEMA’S STAFFORD ACT NEEDS TO BE AMMENDED TO INCLUDE HELP FOR SECOND HOME OWNERS. GRANTS WILL BE GIVEN OUT TO HOME OWNERS TO PRIMARY RESIDENTS HOME OWNERS TO RAISE THEIR HOMES. IN THE MEAN TIME I AM LEFT OUT AND ALL DOORS ARE CLOSED. I NEED TO KNOW HOW I CAN START A CLASS LAWSUIT AGAINST FEMA. THIS IS SO UNFAIR ! I WILL LOOSE MY HOME IF I DON’T FIGHT THIS FIGHT TO THE END. THANK YOU !!
