A settlement has been reached in the class action lawsuit entitled Shawn Roberts, et al. v. Electrolux Home Products Inc., aka Electrolux Dryer Settlement.
Electrolux Dryer Settlement
Class members in the case allege that Electrolux Home Products Inc.’s dryers had defects which caused them to catch on fire when there was a lint build up.
Class members also claim that Electrolux violated warranties, was negligent, breached consumer protection laws, and illegally profited from the sale of its dryers.

Who should file a claim?
Anyone in the U.S. who bought or own a Frigidaire, White Westinghouse, Kelvinator, Gibson, Tappan, Crosley or Kenmore branded freestanding dryer. These dryers must be manufactured by Electrolux from Jan. 1, 2002 to Dec. 31, 2011.
