A $2.6 million settlement has been issued in the class action lawsuit entitled Konecky v. Allstate Fire & Cas. Ins. Co., et al., aka Montana Allstate Car Insurance Settlement.

Class members in the case claim that Allstate had no legal right to wrongly recover subrogation from insurance policyholders but did so anyway.
Seth Konecky, Jennifer Konecky, and Flathead Valley Dist., Inc. filed Konecky v. Allstate Fire & Cas. Ins. Co., et al. on Jan. 27, 2017.
Who should file a claim?
Anyone who was insured by Allstate under its auto insurance policy in Montana and who the company recovered subrogation on a claim after Oct 21, 2018.
