A settlement has been ordered in the class action lawsuit entitled Belanger v. RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing Corporation, aka RoundPoint Mortgage Lender Placed Insurance Settlement.

The settlement resolves the claims that RoundPoint Mortgage received illegal kickbacks for using lender-placed insurance (LPI) policies through Great American E&S Insurance Company.

Austin Belanger filed Belanger v. RoundPoint Mortgage Servicing Corporation on Aug. 31, 2017.

Who should file a claim?

Anyone in the U.S. who was changed by RoundPoint Mortgage under an LPI policy for their residential property from Nov. 1, 2012, to Oct. 12, 2018, and either paid the net premium or still on the policy.
